Visiting "warming," a vintage clothing store in Setagaya.
I’ve been feeling lately like the seasons are starting to change. When I pulled out the items I wore last summer and took a look at them, they just didn’t feel like enough anymore, and I started wanting something new.
With that in mind, I decided to head to "warming," a vintage shop in Setagaya that I’d been curious about for a while.

Shoin-jinja-mae, an area that’s surprisingly accessible.
"warming" is located near Shoin-jinja-mae Station on the Setagaya Line. The area along the Setagaya Line, which is home to an increasing number of "small & good" shops, is always exciting to explore.
It’s not an area you typically associate with driving, but it’s actually quite accessible since the Kannana-dori (Ring Road No. 7) and Route 246 pass nearby. It’s just a few minutes from the Sangen-jaya exit of the Shuto Expressway, making it easy to visit even from afar.
There are several coin-operated parking lots near the shop, so you can park the car and take your time browsing. Above all, if you're taking a drive to visit, you'll want to hunt for items to keep in your car, too!
From the parking lot to the shop, you’ll find "warming" on a street lined with cozy, small businesses. It’s a lovely neighborhood with just the right amount of bustle.

Soak up the American vibe.
I pushed open the glass door with its cute logo and stepped inside. The compact shop was packed with interesting finds. It's fascinating to see everything from clothing to original items and general goods lined up!
Apparently, these "somehow cool" products are all hand-picked by the owner, Mr. Sakamoto, during his travels across America.
That must be why the store is filled with interesting graphic T-shirts that capture the American spirit, along with laid-back, comfortable accessories.
Many of the items date back to the 90s, which fits the vibe of the Volvo we drove here perfectly.
I’ll take a good look around the shop, and if I find something that screams "this is it," I’ll buy it and take it home.
I’m looking forward to wearing it on my next drive.
