A Bakery with a Parking Lot
As I reached the destination, the first thing that caught my eye was the covered parking area for three cars. It’s a truly welcome amenity in the Mejiro area. After parking the 106 and heading straight to the shop, the aroma of freshly baked bread drifted all the way outside.
Inside, the shop is packed with an array of breads, from long baguettes to small fromage rolls. Everything is reasonably priced, so it's a delight to be able to pile your tray high without worrying about the cost!

Time spent gazing at the city skyline in the distance
There is also a terrace at the back of the shop where you can enjoy the bread you've just purchased. Since the weather was nice today, I decided to take out a sandwich and a dessert bread to eat at a park.
Suppressing the urge to eat them right away, I headed back to the park and sat on a bench with a clear view by the grounds. Basking in the pleasant sunshine, I bit into the sandwich, which featured fresh ingredients tucked into a crusty, well-baked baguette. The dessert bread was topped with plenty of vibrant fruits. Enjoying delicious bread while gazing blankly at the city skyscrapers in the distance felt incredibly peaceful and wonderful.

Climbing into the car with a large baguette
As we left, watching Ono-san carry a large baguette to the back seat of the 106 made him look just like a Parisian driving through the streets of Paris. Perhaps the true joy of owning a French car really lies in these "casual everyday moments."
