Takeout Sandwiches in Nihonbashi
Driving my MINI, I headed to WENT 2 GO in Nihonbashi-Horidomecho, Chuo City. It’s just about 10 minutes from the Shuto Expressway’s Edobashi Junction.
While it has a convenient location right near the station—as you’d expect from a cafe in the heart of the city—there are also roadside parking spaces nearby, making it easy to drop by by car.
Lined up in the glass display case are a colorful array of sandwiches and croissant sandwiches. Once you see this sight in the morning, there’s no resisting the temptation. A nice touch is that they’ll even toast your order for you. There is space to eat inside, but since the weather is finally getting warmer, eating outside is definitely more pleasant.

Sandwiches and Crispy Croissants
This time, I chose the "cheese beef" and the "Lotus Biscoff spread."
For the sandwich, the sheer volume of filling overflowing from the sandwich and the savory aroma of the well-toasted bread are irresistible.
As for the "Lotus Biscoff spread," the hot biscuit cream melts into the crispy croissant, spreading bliss with every bite. Pair it with some cold milk for the perfect balance of sweetness and roastiness—the ultimate breakfast.

A Perfect Checkpoint for a Change of Pace
After eating, I gazed vaguely at the morning light reflecting off the body of my MINI, and felt a sense of pure luxury. Taking a moment to pause in everyday life leads to inspiration for what’s next. WENT 2 GO is the kind of place that provides that breather.
It’s perfect for a weekend morning, a little change of pace, or a stopover when you’re feeling peckish.
It’s a cafe in the middle of the city that makes your time with your car just a little bit richer.
