"Habana", a Flower Shop in Oku-Shibuya
Oku-Shibuya is an area that has seen a rise in new shops, centered around cafes.
Just off Inokashira-dori, which faces Yoyogi Park, you will find the flower shop "Habana." The area is surprisingly convenient to reach by car. There are parking meters scattered nearby, making it easy to pull over for a quick stop if you're there for less than an hour. The fact that it's just a short walk from where you can park makes it a great spot to drop by spontaneously while out for a drive.
Standing in front of the shop, you’re greeted by a stunning display of leaves and flowers that line the storefront, just as the name suggests. Yet, somehow, it blends seamlessly into the neighborhood, making it easy to see why it’s such a well-loved local flower shop.

Enticed by the Scent of Flowers, Stepping Inside
Stepping into the shop, you are gently enveloped by the scent of flowers and plants, which naturally helps you unwind.
From houseplants to cut flowers, they offer a selection that’s easy to incorporate into your daily life, all at surprisingly reasonable prices given the neighborhood! It’s always fun to walk through the Oku-Shibuya shopping district, discovering new shops along the way. That’s exactly what makes it so great to just wander into "Habana" as part of the journey.
While surrounded by the fragrance of flowers, you can take your time choosing a plant to bring home. It’s the kind of local shop that feels perfectly suited for exactly that.

Add Some Greenery to Your Car!
I recommend keeping the plants you’ve chosen in a visible spot inside the car until you get home.
A car is a space where you actually spend quite a bit of time. Adding just a touch of greenery makes your usual interior look a little different. It’s a small change that brightens your day, whether it’s feeling the seasons or making waiting at traffic lights a bit more pleasant.
My companion for this drive was a Peugeot 206. Its practical yet stylish presence, typical of a French car, really suits this kind of everyday outing.
Why not stop by a flower shop during your next drive and pick up some greenery for your car? After all, the inside of your car is your own personal space, too.
